With the pizza crust made out of sweet potato and topped with your favorite veggies, this pizza is a nutrient-dense, low-caloric meal that will give your body plenty of healing super powers to reduce your change for developing a disease.

Ingredients
    Pizza Crust
  • 2 cup sweet potato (peeled, diced and steamed)
  • 6 tbsp arrowroot starch
  • 6 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 pinch Salt
  • Pizza sauce
  • 2/3 cup tomato paste
  • 2-3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Toppings
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1/2 small zuchini
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place peeled, diced sweet potato into a steamer and steam for 15 minutes. Remove and cool.

  2. Mash the sweet potato in a bowl.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients for the crust and combine to form a uniform dough. 

  4. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Place each part on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Use hands to spread the dough to form a pizza base.

    Makes two small pizza bases. 
  5. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the top is hardened.

  6. Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl and then spread the pizza sauce on the pizza bases.

  7. Prepare your pizza toppings by cutting them up into small pieces. Top the pizza evenly to your liking. 

  8. Bake the pizza for another 10-15 minutes.

  9. Top with fresh basil, drizzle with lemon cashew dressing (optional) and serve immediately.
