Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Blend oats in a high speed blender for 30 seconds to form a fine flour.

  2. Add in banana and plant-based milk of your choice and blend for another 30 seconds to achieve a smooth and slightly runny mixture. Mixture will thicken very quickly.

  3. Switch on your waffle maker, coat it evenly with a little bit of coconut oil and let it reach the ideal cooking temperature.

Ideally use a waffle maker with an eco-friendly ceramic coating (PFOA and PTFE free) suchas Heart- Shaped Waffle Maker EURO Cuisine
  4. Spoon batter evenly in the center of the waffle maker leaving the edges empty to prevent overfilling.

  5. Close lid and cook the waffle until the indicator shows that they are ready to be removed approximately 2-5 minutes depending on your machine.

  6. Open iron slowly and remove the waffle gently.

  7. Serve with berries of your choice and with a drizzle of maple syrup

  8. Repeat the process to cook remaining waffles.

Any leftover waffles can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for a few days or you can also freeze them to store them for a longer period.
